The Elements Explained

Spirit

Spirit is the element that unifies all. Therefore those who choose to walk the path of spirit will learn to be aware of all around them. They are responsible for the rituals honoring the gods and goddesses. They are also responsible for the magick rites of the order in general. They are the ones that unify the community and ensure all is running properly. They work directly with the Priest, Priestess, and Shaman.

Fire


Fire is an element that represents passion as well as destruction.Those who choose to walk this path are charged with the security of the order like a wall of flame they protect the people within. They are the ones who create the gatherings around the bonfires to celebrate, dance, and share stories of the old gods. Competition of a friendly nature for the members are also charged to those who walk the path of fire. As well as the rituals to protect and honor those going off to war.

Water


Water is as endless and relentless as time itself, and this is reflected in those who follow this path. They are responsible for divination and purification. Rituals honoring the triple goddess for the effect she has on us all. Handfasting ceremonies, are also the job of the ones who wish to be one with the water as well as contructing amulets for the members of the order.

Earth


The earth which has given birth to us all is the pillar on which we stand, so must be the ones that walk this path. They are responsible for the rituals for a new mother. They are the ones that gather and prepare the herbs for the spells. As well as being the ones to do the construction for our gatherings.

Air

The ones who walk the path of air will resemble both in body and mind the element they represent.They are the ones that are responsbile for the communication of the order for the wind carries word far. They are the record keepers of the order, maintaining knowledge of who joins and the rituals performed. As well as being responsible for rituals for members embarking on a journey, so that the wind will watch over them
